Join us January 28th for a public talk and hands-on workshop with costume and textile specialist Bonnie Elliott. This program will offer a look at clothing worn in Cobequid during the period 1761 – 1780 and practical assistance on recreating Planter clothing.
A two-day conference in June, a historic re-enactment in July and a full year of dress up are in store for many Colchester County residents as they celebrate the Year of the Planters in Cobequid (1761-2011).
