Peter Bigelow on Victoria Park

While today’s Victoria Park is unquestionably a vital element in the lives of local citizens, it is an important park provincially and quite possibly nationally for its historic significance. Truro native Peter Bigelow will explore Victoria Park’s history and what it offers today in context with other well known historic parks. Bigelow is a Halifax landscape architect and Park Manager who has led the restoration of the Halifax Public Gardens, Point Pleasant Park and declaration of the Memorial Tower (Dingle Tower) at Sir Sandford Fleming Park as a National Historic Site.
