Parks Canada Historian and Author Anne Marie Lane Jonah will be joining us Thursday, October 24 at 7:30pm to talk about “Food and Drink in Louisbourg”. The talk is in celebration of the 300th anniversary of the founding of Louisbourg.

In this talk, author Jerry Lockett traces the origins of storm forecasting and examines Saxby’s curious ideas. He also considers the unusual circumstances that made the Saxby Gale in 1869 so devastating.
As a farewell to the “Stitches Over Time” exhibit some members of the Marigold Guild of Needle Arts will be in throughout the day working on various projects. Visitors are welcome to stop by!
