Author Brian Kinsman will be on hand to discuss the story of Karl M. Creelman’s bicycle journey around the world. This talk is part of the Colchester Adult Learning Association’s Pedal Power Family Literacy Program and is open to the public.
We are now collecting donations for our annual Yard and Bake sale. Items can be dropped off at the Colchester Historeum. If you are willing to do baking as well please let us know.
We are not taking clothes or books for this sale.
The purpose of this contest is to capture the beauty that is Colchester County. There are two categories; twelve and under, and thirteen and over. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Deadline for sign up is August 5th, 2013 and the contest closes September 5th, 2013.
The Gaelic Council of Nova Scotia will be hosting a short talk and language lesson at the Colchester Historeum. Learn more about the Gaels in Nova Scotia, some Gaelic conversation and maybe even sing a Gaelic song! No experience necessary. Tea and snacks served.
