On Wednesday, October 30 the Colchester Historeum will be transformed into a haunted house! This a a family friendly event that is intended for children aged 12 years and younger. Doors open at 6pm and admission is free.
Stephen Maher will read from his critically acclaimed political thriller. Copies of the book will be available for $20 (cash or cheque only), and the author will sign copies. Maher will be introduced by the former Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley MP Bill Casey.
Tickets are available at the Colchester Historeum for $12 each, it is required to buy ahead of time. The actual meal will be served at the Truro Fire Service, aka the new fire hall next door.
Parks Canada Historian and Author Anne Marie Lane Jonah will be joining us Thursday, October 24 at 7:30pm to talk about “Food and Drink in Louisbourg”. The talk is in celebration of the 300th anniversary of the founding of Louisbourg.
