Join us for a night with Coraidh MacMhathain as he offers an introductory lecture on the Gaels of Scotland, their history in Nova Scotia, and the unique language and culture they brought with them.
You will leave with an understanding of who the Gaels are and why preserving the Gaelic language and culture is so important to the regional identity of Nova Scotia.
Coraidh is the founder and co-host of the local organization Treud Ghàidhlig Trùru | The Gaelic Flock of Truro, a group of local Gaelic language learners which aims to regrow the presence of Gaelic in Colchester County.
